If you want to be a linebacker, be prepared to use your brain cells. Many players like the idea of being a linebacker because they get to rush the quarterback and make tackles. While this is true, linebackers also have to be really good at reading offensive schemes to know when to drop back into pass coverage. It's a position that requires you to think and be smart.
