Still don’t want Orton
All Bears fans hopes were dashed last night when Jay Cutler threw 5 more interceptions during the Bears loss. It was crushing and hurt but I still don’t want Kyle Orton back.
Jay Cutler will be fine in time and we knew this season wasn’t go to be the best. The Bears have no real go to receiver and as a result teams are lining up to stop Matt Forte and he’s having a down year running the ball. As a result Cutler is forced to throw 45 passes a game and with his mentality he is going to throw some picks. I still don’t want Kyle Orton back.
I wouldn’t want Kyle Orton back if the Bears were 0-9 at this point. I wouldn’t want Orton back under hardly any circumstance. Let him win with the Broncos and lead them to the playoffs and all that but keep him from the Bears. In the long run Jay Cutler will get it done in Chicago and be the best qb in the history of the franchise but he needs some weapons first. Kyle Orton is the king of the 10 yard curl route and the pass to the tailback on his 3rd option. He’s the king of the 8 minute scoring drive and all that. He’s the king of boring. He’s the king of not being able to bring a team back from being down. I’m glad he’s gone and if Jay Cutler leads the world in interceptions you can still keep Kyle Orton.
